Jurgen Klopp has spoken out on Georginio Wijnaldum's future ahead of Liverpool's Community Shield clash with Arsenal on Saturday.
Wijnaldum, whose contract with the Reds expires next season, has been linked with a move to Barcelona.
Speaking on the player's future during a press conference, Klopp said: "Look, that’s an open contract situation obviously, otherwise you would know probably, and that means we don’t talk about it.
"I never did since I have to do press conferences so why should I change it now? That’s all between us and the player and this kind of thing.
"It’s all good in the moment, it’s all fine. Gini looked very good in the pre-season, played obviously a couple of good seasons for us, so that’s all I can say about that."
Wijnaldum made overall 47 appearances during the previous season and scored 6 goals.
