Liverpool won’t sell Dejan Lovren to AC Milan for less than £25million.
The defender made only 13 Premier League appearances for Liverpool last season, but he 30-year-old will stay at the club.
Lovren has two years to run on his contract and according to Italian outlet
Calciomercato, Lovren’s leadership qualities are the reason why Klopp refuses to let him go.
The Croatian is raring to go ahead of the new season, he said: "
I’m glad that I’m here back. The vacation is over, it’s time to work and to get back on track where we stopped. We need to prepare ourselves for the beginning of the season because the schedule is quite tight when you look at it.
“We will play already for two big, major trophies [in August] so it’s a great opportunity for us and all the fans around the world.”
