Kai Havertz has decided that he wants to move to Chelsea despite interest from many of Europe's biggest clubs. The 21-year-old has also told Bayer Leverkusen boss that he does not want to wait any longer.
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester United have all been keeping tabs on Havertz. But those clubs will not be in a position to meet the player's £90million price tag until next summer.
According to Kicker, Havertz has made the firm decision to leave this summer, especially after Leverkusen failed to qualify for the Champions League. The report adds that the Germany international has hit heart set on moving to Stamford Bridge after seeing the project the Blues have to offer.
Chelsea have already spent over £80m on Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner from Ajax and RB Leipzig, respectively. Havertz is hoping to link up with his international team-mates Werner and Antonio Rudiger next season.
