Kevin De Bruyne reacts to Belgium's EURO 2020 defeat to Italy

  Kevin De Bruyne has reacted to Belgium's EURO 2020 elimination after a defeat to Italy. Belgium suffered a 2-1 defeat to Italy in the quarter-finals and won't be continuing their EURO journey. Goals from Nicolo Barella and Lorenzo Insigne helped Italy to celebrate the victory, meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku took one back for Belgium after a penalty kick, however, it wasn't enough for Belgium. Following the game, De Bruyne said via Kristof Terreur: “This is a disappointment, but we have tried everything to win this game. For me personally, it has been a strange four/five weeks with the injuries. I had a tear in my ankle ligament. But I have to thank the medical staff.”
