Manchester City have suffered a huge blow after doctors told them Kevin De Bruyne got injured.
The Belgian is set to undergo a scan, where it is expected to reveal ligament damage that is likely to keep him out for over two months.
The 27-year-old came on for the final 30 minutes in City’s 2-0 win against Arsenal on the opening weekend last Sunday and cut short his holiday in a bid to play against the Gunners.
Last time De Bruyne got the same injury, he had been out for 12 weeks.
City face Huddersfield at home on Sunday.
