Klich sends message to Leeds fans ahead of clash v Barnsley

Leeds United are preparing to host Barnsley on Thursday, July 16. Ahead of the game, Leeds midfielder Mateusz Klich has said "it's sad" that the fans won't be able to celebrate with them when they get promoted. Speaking in an interview with BBC, Klich said: “Obviously all of us want to celebrate with the fans. But I have a message for the fans, it’s sad and they’re not going to like it. “But please stay home. The only way we can beat the virus is to stay home and support your club from home. As soon as we beat it the fans can come to the stadiums again. “I’m very positive. In Poland, there is 25% of stadium capacity being able to watch games. So it’s very doable.” Leeds United could get promoted to the Premier League on Thursday if they win over Barnsley and Brentford fail to beat Preston North End on Wednesday. source - motleedsnews.com
