Klopp confident in club's attractiveness to players amidst Champions League uncertainty

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp expressed his confidence that the club remains an attractive option for potential transfers even if they do not have a confirmed spot in the Champions League next season.

Currently sitting in fifth place, the Reds are competing for a top-four finish with only one point behind Manchester United, who have played a game less. At a press conference on Friday, Klopp explained that if he were to talk to a player, they would already be aware of Liverpool's current Champions League situation.

Klopp emphasized the importance of being a part of the competition, fighting for trophies, and how Liverpool remains a fantastic club with a great football team. Yet, the 55-year-old head coach acknowledged that they could not guarantee Champions League football.

"This period is super important because it gives us all a massive hint on how it [the future] could look," Klopp said via ESPN. "We all know we are in the early stages, we have to improve, to make things more natural and more clear for the boys of what we want exactly."

Liverpool's final three games of the season will start with an away match against Leicester City on May 15.
