La Liga side Villarreal are interested in Arsenal defender Cedric Soares.
Last summer, there were expectations that Cedric would be offloaded, considering his diminished standing in Mikel Arteta's team, coupled with a loan spell at Fulham during the latter part of the 2022/23 season. Surprisingly, there was minimal interest in the right-back, leading to his retention.
Despite several defensive injuries plaguing the squad, the Portugal international has seen limited action in the current campaign. His contributions for the Gunners have been confined to just two appearances: a brief three-minute cameo in the Carabao Cup victory against Brentford and a 62-minute start in the Champions League dead rubber against PSV on Tuesday night.
Besides Villarreal, it is reported that several clubs from Turkey are also interested in the Arsenal defender.
