Lampard tells £80m duo they can leave

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has told Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater that they are free to leave the club this summer, according to the Mirror. The duo cost the club a combined £80m. They have been told they will not be part of Lampard’s plans this season. Bakayoko spent the last year on loan at AC Milan, and had looked set to seal a move there until the club failed to secure Champions League football for this season. Drinkwater, meanwhile, has struggled at Stamford Bridge and played 24 games in two years, since completing a £40m move from Leicester City.
