Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James has revealed his groin issue re-aggravated after the clash with Patrick Beverley during Wednesday's match against LA Clippers.
James had been suffering from a variety of injuries all week, since picking up a thoracic muscle strain during the Indiana Pacers last Tuesday.
Though he featured for the Christmas day match, the club faced the 111-106 defeat.
The NBA player managed to end the game with a 23-point, 10-assist and 9-rebound near triple-double, however, his physical condition became worse.
Speaking after the Clippers fixture, the 35-year-old said:
"I felt healthy going into the game. The second or third defensive possession I got kneed in the groin taking a charge from Pat Bev. That kind of set me right back to where I was five days ago."
James is possible to miss the upcoming several matches in order to get recovered.
The Lakers will play against Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night.
