Lewis Hamilton has taken to Instagram to share a message ahead of Formula One 2024 season following the news of him joining Ferrari in 2025.
On February 1st, it was rumoured that Hamilton will be joining Scuderia Ferrari in 2025.
Later that day, Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team released a statement confirming that the seven-time World Champion will be leaving the team at the end of the season.
Seconds later, Ferrari also shared a statement confirming that Hamilton will be driving for them starting in 2025 and will partner with Charles Leclerc, meanwhile, Carlos Sainz will be leaving the team at the end of 2024, when his contract expires.
Sainz's future is currently uncertain, meanwhile, Leclerc signed a long-term deal with the Italian team a few days before the Hamilton - Ferrari news were made public.
As the new season is getting close, Hamilton took to Instagram to share a message.
He wrote: "The past few days have been all love. Thank you all, the energy and support means everything. Can’t wait to start this season. 2024 is all us 🎯."
