Lionel Messi registered his name as trademark

Lionel Messi finally can use his name as trademark. European court confirmed Argentine player can use his name for sport goods after seven years of battle. Barcelona super star was announced world's highest earner (€126 m) among footballers by passing Cristiano Ronaldo (€94 m). Messi asked for trade marking in 2011, but Cycling Company called Massi was against that explaining, that the names are too similar. European court, however suggested that Argentine is too popular to make confusion.
