Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirms Anfield exit plan

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed he will take a year out of football in 2024. The Reds manager extended his contract last December and will remain at Anfield for a while yet. Klopp has revealed after that it could be the end of him as a football manager. He told SportBuzzer: “I'll take a year off and ask myself if I miss football. If I say no, then that will be the end of coach Jurgen Klopp. If one day I am no longer a coach, there is one thing I will not miss: the brutal tension immediately before the game.” Klopp also looked ahead to the new campaign and what he expects from his Liverpool squad. “The whole club is hot for the new season, we want to be even better," Klopp continued. “We want to chase the opponents and the ball over the entire field, continue to be a super unpleasant team that is not fun to play. We're not defending any titles, we want to get new ones, we've only just started winning.” Some encouraging news for Liverpool is that Klopp planned on taking 12 months out when he left Dortmund in 2015. In the end the opportunity to manage the Reds was too much to turn down and he replaced Brendan Rodgers in October of the same year. Source: Express *Join us on Telegram!
