Liverpool have achieved the signing of 16-year-old Polish goalkeeper Fabian Mrozek on a youth scholarship deal from FC Wrocław. Mrozek had been at Kirkby Academy earlier this year. He can be tied to a professional deal when he turns 17 in September.
Mrozek arrives after goalkeepers Daniel Atherton, Shamal George and Kai McKenzie-Lyle were all released last month. He will look to challenge for a place in the under-18 and u-23 age-groups.
His agent Jakub Schlage confirmed a deal on social media, writing
: "Fabian Mrozek completes permanent transfer from FC Wroclaw to Liverpool! From 1 July he will represent the colours of the youth groups of the current England champion. Fabian will also have training sessions with the first team."
