Liverpool have confirmed Fabinho’s injury layoff stating that the midfielder will miss six to eight weeks as he sustained ankle ligament damage.
The 26-year-old Brazilian was injured during 1-1 draw with Napoli on Wednesday and was substituted by Georginio Wijnaldum in the 19
th minute.
Liverpool’s upcoming fixture will be against Brighton on Saturday in the frames of the Premier League.
"Absolute bad news. Nothing good to say about this. Let me say - pretty sure he won't be involved in the Christmas fixtures. That was my main problem after the Napoli game. We have solutions for the position," said Klopp.
