Liverpool are reportedly looking at Real Sociedad defender Diego Llorente as a replacement for Dejan Lovren, ahead of the summer transfer window. The defender has been remarkably consistent in La Liga since leaving Real Madrid in 2017.
According to Spanish outlet La Razon, Liverpool are eyeing a deal for Llorente. He currently has a release clause in the region of £40million.
Lovren is set to consider his future at the end of the campaign. Therefore, Liverpool would have to sign a replacement if he was to leave and it looks like Llorente could be that man.
Tottenham are also said to be interested as they look to bolster their backline.
