Liverpool handed major boost in move for Germany national team star
According to what has been reported by Daily Mirror, Bayern Munich have cooled their interest towards RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner. Werner, also a Liverpool target, has been linked with a possible move to Bundesliga champions, however, sources claim that Bayern will keep their finances for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane’s move. Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp hopes to buy several new players to improve the depth of the squad in order to battle with Manchester City for EPL title. Liverpool’s massive campaign last season, that ended up with 97 points, wasn’t enough, as Pep Guardiola’s side managed earn 98. And Jurgen Klopp is preparing for another epic battle, targeting Werner alongside with LOSC Lille winger Nicolas Pepe. Werner’s estimated price is £50 m and it seems Liverpool are ready to pay this money to have another forward with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Mo Salah and Divock Origi, as Daniel Sturridge will leave Anfield this summer.
