Liverpool will be in action against their next Premier League opponents, Newcastle United, on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
The Reds have already faced two opponents at the start of the 2023/24 campaign, recording one draw and one win. Jurgen Klopp's side will be looking to have another successful clash when they play against Eddie Howe's team at the weekend.
Ahead of the game, Klopp has already provided an injury update on the squad players and their potential availability. The German manager told the press that Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to be fit for the game, while Ibrahima Konate is still a doubt.
"Trent, yes (he's okay). Thiago and Curtis from Monday on. Ibou (Konate) is a doubt. Playing for 30+ minutes with 10 men didn't help," Klopp said in the pre-match press conference, via Liverpool Echo.
