Liverpool celebrated a 1-0 victory over Ajax in the Champions League and qualified for the round of 16 by finishing first in the Group D. Having finished first means that the Reds will face one of the second-placed teams from the other groups, however, this doesn't include English teams such as Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea.
As it stands the potential opponent from Group A would be Atletico Madrid, however, FC Red Bull Salzburg and Lokomotiv Moscow can still qualify for the last-16 in second spot.
In Group B all the 4 teams - Borussia Monchengladbach, Shakhtar Donetsk, Real Madrid and Inter Milan can be potential opponents for Liverpool.
From Group C, Porto would be the option, while Sevilla, who have the same amount of points as Chelsea in Group E, could face the Reds in the last 16 too. Borussia Dortmund, Lazio and Club Bruges can all still qualify in second place out of Group F, and from Group G, it's Juventus that is the likely opponent for the Reds.
While Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig are the potential opponents out of Group H for Jurgen Klopp's side.
