How Liverpool could line up next season with new signings

Winning the Champions League means Jurgen Klopp has the best squad in Europe so he isn’t under intense pressure to strengthen his starting XI. Klopp is used to spend big but get the right man and doesn't settle for someone who doesn't quite suit his style. The departures of Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno were already confirmed and the Reds are not expected to do too much business themselves this summer. However, there is still room for improvement regarding squad depth while a couple of star signings have also been linked with a move to Anfield. Here's how Liverpool could look next season if Klopp makes two signings in the next couple of months. Liverpool this season has been a lack of creativity from their midfield trio. Joao Felix is on Liverpool radar and would be a headline signing as they have enough funds to purchase the sensational Portuguese. Made up of a combination of Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Naby Keita, the engine room has plenty of legs but is lacking a creative spark. The Portuguese youngster would allow more flexibility in the Reds attack and could sit in a No 10 role behind Firmino if Mane departs. Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Wijnaldum; Shaqiri, Felix, Salah; Firmino Another option is the signing of Timo Werner. The German has been a long-standing transfer target of several Premier League clubs and would be a statement signing to partner Mohamed Salah in attack, if Mane moves on. Firmino has the ability to play that deeper No 10 role and may drop back if the Reds sign an out and out striker such as Timo Werner. Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho; Henderson, Wijnaldum; Firmino; Salah, Werner. SHOCK: Liverpool may SELL Mohamed Salah to fund a move for highly-rated youngster
