Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius spent one year away on loan at Turkish Besiktas after a nightmare game of Champions League final against Real Madrid last season.
The goalkeeper will remain at Besiktas on loan until next season as he had signed a a two-year agreement to join the Turkish club last summer.
"The beginnings are always the hardest, [e]specially if you come to a new country, to new people, to a new culture," wrote Karius on Instagram.
"But the whole club, the whole family of Besiktas Istanbul, with its amazing fans and its fascinating club atmosphere, made it easy for me.
"Easy to get fully focused on football, easy to feel comfortable in a new country and easy to have the support I need to live up to my potential.
"Thank you for your whole support on and off the pitch and for welcoming me to your famous and wonderful Besiktas family. #LK1".
