Liverpool make transfer decision ahead of January window

Liverpool will not be making a move for Toulouse defender Mathieu Goncalves during the January transfer window. Jurgen Klopp’s side have tracked the 18-year-old. The Reds wants to see how he performs over the course of a full season in his club before launching a potential bid for the defender. Goncalves could one day join the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez and Sepp van den Berg in the Merseysiders’ defence.
