Liverpool and Manchester United in a battle with Juventus for Brescia teenager

Liverpool and Manchester United have targeted Brescia midfiedler Sandro Tonali amid Juventus interest. The teenager has become one of the most sought-after players in Europe. He has made his debut for the Serie A club in August 2017. He played in 64 games before his 20th anniversary. SportItalia, via Football Italia, report that numbers of European clubs are keen to sign Tonali, including Manchester City, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. However, Juventus are the front-runners to sign the Italian professional. As Brescia are facing a hard season, sitting on the 19th place of the Serie A table, they will try to keep their talented player. However, he is possible to leave if the club is relegated to Serie B. The 19-year-old is thought to be valued at €50m (£42.7m), but Brescia president Massimo Cellino has admitted he is worth six times that amount. He said: "All the big Italian clubs are interested. Abroad there’s Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, but in my view, he’d be better off remaining as a protagonist with Brescia. The other day, his agent and his parents were telling me about this €50m evaluation. I replied that for me he is worth €300m, which means I don’t want to sell. I have a dream. If Sandro accepts, I am ready to make a big financial sacrifice to extend his contract."
