Liverpool have shown an interest in Borussia Monchengladbach central midfielder Florian Neuhaus and are preparing a bid for him as a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, according to
Kicker. Wijnaldum's contract is set to expire at the end of the season and he has yet to agree on new terms.
During this season the 30-year-old has made 33 appearances in which he has scored 3 goals.
Neuhaus has a €40 million release clause in his Monchengladbach contract which runs until the summer of 2024. The 23-year-old has made 29 appearances in which he has scored 6 goals and provided 6 assists.
According to the report, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Juventus are also interested.
