Liverpool put three players up for sale to fund Timo Werner summer transfer

Liverpool are ready to offload three players this summer in a bid to boost finances, according to The Athletic. Jurgen Klopp is keen to add Timo Werner to his ranks but the RB Leipzig striker will cost £52million. The Reds are hoping to land £30m for Xherdan Shaqiri, who has been on the fringes of the first team. The former Stoke ace had loan enquiries from Spanish side Sevilla and Italian outfit Roma turned down in January. Liverpool are also hoping offers arrive for current on-loan duo Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic. Wilson has impressed during his time at Bournemouth this season, while Grujic has spent this year with Hertha Berlin. Liverpool were hoping to receive £40m for the pair.
