Manchester United are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Emre Can, as reported by Daily Express (referring to Calciomercato).
Germany national team player is having hard time in Turin under Maurizio Sarri, as he has been left out of team's champions league squad for the season.
Manchester United, meanwhile, has a lack of quality in midfield, as Paul Pogba and likes of Andreas Pereira and Fred aren't impressing this season. Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer will surely need improvement in midfield and Can, who played for Liverpool before joining Serie A champions, is one of the possible options in the market.
Earlier Can has complained about his current situation in Italy, stating that he didn't feel happy.
“I’m not happy [at Juve] right now. I’m not playing much at the moment," he said.
“I played a lot last season, especially in important matches, for Juventus, and I also played well." Can added.
Manchester United and Liverpool will face each other at Old Trafford Stadium this Sunday.
