Liverpool sent scouts to watch Milan derby as they are monitoring Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, according to <a href="https://www.fcinternews.it/in-primo-piano/fcin-liverpool-scout-al-derby-per-brozovic-l-inter-si-cautela-presto-incontro-per-il-rinnovo-no-clausola-330466">FCInterNews</a>.

Brozovic, 27, is contracted at the San Siro until June 2022.

The player has a release clause of £50.5million - a fee that can only be activated by clubs outside of Italy.

However, Inter Milan are looking to tie Brozovic down to a new deal until 2024.

Brozovic played the full duration of Sunday's win over AC Milan.
