Premier League champions Liverpool have been linked with a stunning swoop for Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger. Frank Lampard is willing to let the 27-year-old leave for the right price.
Lampard wants to bring in a new goalkeeper, left-back and centre-half to help build a foundation which will allow their new attacking players to grow. However, any more additions will have to be met with outgoings to help balance the books.
Rudiger is in the firing line after struggling to deal with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the FA Cup final. The Germany international was dropped for the Champions League thrashing at the hands of Bayern Munich.
The Reds needs a back-up defender after letting Dejan Lovren join Zenit St Petersburg for £11million. It is claimed Lampard would be open to letting Rudiger leave because he can use the cash to bring in his own targets.
