Liverpool star actively encourages Kylian Mbappe to join the Merseyside club

Liverpool midfielder Fabinho is reportedly encouraging Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe to join him at Anfield. The 22-year-old forward is contracted with the Ligue 1 champions until the summer of 2022 and have been heavily linked with a move to Merseyside. According to Canal Plus journalist Geoffroy Garetier, head coach Jurgen Klopp has been pressing ahead with Mbappe’s entourage in order to bring the Frenchman to the club. Garetier insisted Fabinho has also launched a charm offensive, telling his former Monaco teammate just how ‘great’ it is at Liverpool and how he has ‘taken a step forward thanks to Klopp’ and his coaching staff. Mbappe is said to have been ‘seduced’ by Liverpool’s promise that the team would be built around him should he join.
