Liverpool star hints at long awaited injury return with recent update

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has taken to social media to share a recent training update and has used the caption function suggesting he’ll be back in the first-team picture before too long. The 27-year-old has been missing all season having been struck by an injury in the summer months ahead of the new campaign starting. Since then he has had to work his way back to fitness once again but it appears he is now on the brink of a long-awaited return. Oxlade-Chamberlain took to his official Instagram page to share this image, with the caption below suggesting he’s not far away now:
