Liverpool target stunning €80M Bundesliga swoop

Liverpool are in talks with Bayer Leverkusen over the €80million signing of Kai Havertz, who already visited the club’s Melwood training ground. Havertz only signed a new five-year deal with Leverkusen last July, but according to Sport Bild, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has sent scouts to watch the playmaker’s progress for several months and the Reds have even begun discussions with the player’s agent over a possible move to Anfield. Sports Bild also suggests that Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are all monitoring the wonder kid. However, as we have reported before Havertz wants to join Bayern Munich.
