Liverpool urged to sign 'ideal' goal machine with £63m release clause

Fabio Capello has said that Liverpool would be Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland’s “ideal” next destination. Haaland, 19, has continued his stunning strike rate for Dortmund since joining the Bundesliga club in January from RedBull Salzburg. Having scored 28 goals in 22 games for Salzburg earlier this season, Dortmund spent £18million to sign him. In 12 appearances, the Norwegian has netted a whopping 13 goals in 12 games for Dortmund – striking on Saturday in a 4-0 win over Schalke. Former England manager Capello was working as a pundit for Sky Sports and discussing whether Haaland would be a good signing for Premier League clubs and the ex-Real Madrid claimed Haaland would be “ideal” for Liverpool.
