Philippe Coutinho endured a torrid time in Spain since completing a £142million transfer to the Nou Camp from Liverpool in January 2018.
Coutinho has fallen down the pecking order at an alarming rate in La Liga and is now open to the idea of leaving Barcelona.
According to Le10Sport, Liverpool are considering giving him a second chance at Anfield.
Liverpool chairman Tom Werner recently spoke out about Coutinho and revealed he thinks the midfielder regrets his decision to leave.
"I would just point to the story of Philippe Coutinho," Werner told the
Liverpool Echo.
"I have only good things to say about Philippe. But I think he left Liverpool because he wanted to play for one of the two big Spanish clubs.
"We tried to convince him that we had the club moving in the right direction and that he could experience big Champions League occasions by staying at Liverpool. I think he probably regrets his decision."
