Former unified middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (38-1-1, 34 KOs)’s promoter Tom Loeffler says, his boxer is ready to fight Canelo Alvarez (50-1-2, 34 KOs).
"Triple G is always up to fight Canelo. We feel that he beat him twice. There is no reason why he wouldn't beat him a third time. We feel that Canelo needs Triple G more than Triple G needs Canelo, because Canelo still needs to prove to the fans that he beat him fair and square, not just on the judges' scorecards," Loeffler told ESPN Deportes.
"It was a great fight the first time, it was a better fight the second time and I think the third fight might even be the best fight. We'll see, whatever we can work out. I've been in regular contact with [Canelo's promoter] Golden Boy. We'll see if we can work out a third fight."
