Lucas Digne sends message to Everton after Goodison Park return with Aston Villa

Lucas Digne has claimed Goodison Park remains a 'loving place' for him after his first trip back to Everton as an opposition player. The 28-year-old was part of the Aston Villa side that won 1-0 at Goodison, the ground where he has spent the previous four years of his career at. The game was decided by Emiliano Buendia's header in first-half injury-time, that Digne assisted. After the game sharing a message on social media the Frenchman tweeted:

"Amazing effort from the team. Important 3 points.   "It’s still [a] loving place for me I wish all the best for the season, Everton."
