Lucas Torreira could soon have a decision to make on his Arsenal future

AC Milan are set to make a formal offer for Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira. The Italian outfit will now test Arsenal's resolve with a formal offer, reports the Standard. The Gunners will not entertain any temporary switch and are looking for an increase on the £27m they paid Sampdoria for the midfielder last summer. Unai Emery wants to keep the 23-year-old and according to the Telegraph, the midfielder is keen to extend his stay in north London. Speaking earlier this month, Torreira suggested he missed life in Italy after just one year in north London. He told Uruguayan outlet Ovacion: "I don’t know if there are many things that I enjoy. I think it was better in Italy. England is a totally different world, a very large country. It is strange a little bit, the sun, the more of us that we are here and we are accustomed to having always or almost always the sun. But as the years pass, I’m going to be adapting." Torreira is currently away with the Uruguay squad at Copa America.
