Luis Diaz explains how he'll help Liverpool attack amid transfer links

Liverpool target Luis Diaz may have already explained how he'll improve the club's attack and help get the best out of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. Diaz is close to completing his £50million switch to Anfield this week from Porto. Speaking to Marca in December 2020, the Colombian forward explained how he sees himself fitting into sides he plays in – and says he is more than happy to focus on being a provider for his teammates.

“I like goals a lot, since I was little,” Diaz admitted. “But if I see my teammate better positioned, I try to assist.   “Sometimes my teammate tells me: 'why don't you shoot?'... but I prefer to give him the pass because he's in a better position to score.”
