Luis Ortiz claims he is ready to fight Mike Tyson. Several boxers have been urged to fight 53-year-old Mike, including the likes of Shannon Briggs, Tito Ortiz and Wanderlei Silva.
However, the most realistic option remains Luis Ortiz. The 41-year-old has challenged for the WBC belt twice. However, he lost to Deontay Wilder both times.
On the prospect of facing Tyson, Ortiz told El Nuevo Herald:
“You know me and you know I am not a boxer to sit down and choose names for convenience. I’m going against whoever wants it. There’s a lot of talk about Mike Tyson’s return now. If he wants, I’ll even go against him. I just need a name and a date.”
Tyson is training with UFC Legend Vitor Belford after declaring his desire to return to the boxing ring in an exhibition bout.
