Real Madrid star Luka Modric who has been included in UEFA’s Player of the Year award, made a rare public pronouncement on the rumours linking him with a summer move to Iner Milan.
Modric denied on social media that he had made contact with Inter, posting a message in which he described the claims made by futbolalreves.com as “the biggest pile of nonsense in history.”
Modric will remain at Real Madrid with a new, improved deal in the pipeline to be his salary in line with the club’s best-paid stars, Gareth Bale and Sergio Ramos.
