Luke Shaw set to become one of the best-paid defender in the world

Luke Shaw is in talks over a new long-term contract at Manchester United that will make him one of the highest-paid defenders in world football. According to Sportsmail, the left back's wages will soar north of £150,000 a week should it be agreed. Shaw is currently earning in the region of £100,000 a week but his shift in game time under Jose Mourinho has seen his stock rise significantly.
