Man City star's move to Liverpool will affect Trent-Alexander-Arnold's playing position

Liverpool's ambitions about landing Kyle Walker after a glorious campaign with the Citizens hints at possible strategic changes in the Reds' squad for the upcoming season, including Trent Alexander-Arnold's playing position.

Jurgen Klopp's side are reportedly interested in Manchester City, alongside with a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia and a strong interest from Bayern Munich. Although the Reds' chances to land their rival's skilled right-back is unlikely, it provides insight into Klopp's strategy for the tournament to come.

If Walker were to make a move to the Anfield Stadium, Trent Alexander-Arnold would change his playing position to being a full-time midfielder. The England international has made quite a few impressive appearances as a defender but even if another right-back joins Liverpool instead of Walker, the 24-year-old would still undergo a change of position.

It is worth mentioning that Kyle Walker is inclined to extend his stay at Manchester City, as reported by the Mail. The talks to prolong the cooperation between the England international and the European Champions are underway.
