Man United key player to return in action vs. Chelsea

Manchester United key player Marcus Rashford is expected to return to the team from an injury ahead of their clash with Chelsea on May 25.

When asked if Rashford will play against Chelsea on Thursday, Erik ten Hag responded, ‘It looks like it," reports Daily Mail. The England international missed Man United's last two fixtures due to illness and injury, yet remains the club's top scorer with 29 netted balls this season.

Ten Hag added that although the 25-year-old striker has been back into training, it will be up to a post-training examination to determine whether he will be ready for tomorrow or not.

The Dutch manager's side, currently in the fourth place in the Premier League table, is enthusiastic to seal their Champions League qualification finally. The Red Devils, with 69 points, are lacking just a point to secure their spot in the UEFA Champions League in the upcoming campaign. Their remaining games are the one with Chelsea tomorrow, and Fulham on May 28.

Upon his arrival at the Old Trafford, it has been ten Hag's main goal to lead the team to the Champions League.

'We want to compete with the best and be in the Champions League. In the Premier League, you have to be one of the first four, that's not easy.  Many are competing for it, many think they should be in and we are one of them."

'We’ve won one trophy but we want more trophies and to compete with the best. We are still in a journey but we think we are in the right direction but it can always be better. Because good is not good enough.’
