Manchester City close in on Jorginho deal

Manchester City are closing in on the £46.5milion transfer of Napoli midfielder Jorginho. Pep Guardiola’s side expect to sign the Italy international this week, as the Premier League champions make their first signing of the summer. Napoli are understood to want to announce Jorginho’s replacement before officially allowing him to leave for City, but the deal is said to be close and could happen by the weekend. Jorginho’s agent admitted the Brazilian was desperate to play under Pep Guardiola and he now looks set to get his wish.
