Liverpool moved back to the top of the Premier League table with a last-gasp 2-1 win over Tottenham on Sunday.
In the 89
th minute of the match Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross and Mo Salah's header was dropped by Hugo Lloris and Toby Alderweireld responded by putting through his own net and Liverpool were back in first place.
Manchester City fans on social media were furious as they spotted something strange celebrating behind Jurgen Klopp.
As cameras panned around the ground, spotted on the sideline in the section designated for match officials, wearing a jacket which is usually worn by Premier League referees.
It was not the match official, nor one of his assistants, nor fourth official Stuart Atwell.
But sitting just behind Reds boss Klopp, he was spotted celebrating; needless to say, eagle-eyed City fans were less than impressed.
As it was turned out later the man wasn’t a Premier League match official but a masseur provided to the officials at the ground on matchday.
