Having already won the Premier League and EFL Cup this season, Pep Guardiola’s side secured their third trophy of the season with a 6-0 win over Watford.
Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus each grabbed two and David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne also scored to ensure City became the first men's side in history to win the domestic treble.
Sterling scored two more goals in the final ten minutes of the match but it was after the fourth that fans spotted Vincent Kompany looking awkwardly at Watford captain Troy Deeney. Kompany, was walking back past the halfway line when he offered an apologetic expression to Deeney before saying: ‘Harsh.’
