RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano has reportedly made it clear he wants to leave the club in the summer, amid links to Manchester City.
The departure of club stalwart Vincent Kompany already left Pep Guardiola short on options.
City have been linked with plenty of central defenders to strengthen their back-line, with Ruben Dias, Caglar Soyuncu and David Alaba all touted. The latest name is Leipzig's Upamecano.
According to Bild, via SportWitness, the 21-year-old has made it clear to Leipzig that he wishes to leave the club in the summer.
Upamecano's contract will expire in 2021 and it's claimed the East German side may be forced to sell him in a cut-price deal to get anything at all back on their investment.
