Manchester City have been provided a boost over Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker, as the pair could potentially be available to return to training on Monday.
Pep Guardiola's side were hit with Jesus and Walker both testing positive for the virus meaning they needed to self isolate and have been missing for City.
However, if the pair were to test negative today (Thursday) in the recent round of Premier League tests, they could return from isolation on Monday and train ahead of the Manchester derby in the League Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
Whether or not the duo would be able to reach match fitness before the game is unknown. However, they will still miss the match against Chelsea this weekend.
