Manchester City are interested in a January transfer for Bournemouth’s Nathan Ake- despite a contract clause seemingly putting Chelsea in pole position.
In 2017, the Blues inserted a £40m buy-back clause into the centre-back's £20m deal, when he moved to Bournemouth.
Chelsea’s FIFA transfer ban was reduced and they are now free to sign a player and thinking about bringing Ake back to Stamford Bridge.
However, City are also understood to want to sign the player if they can next month.
