Manchester City are interested in Kang-in Lee but may have to pay a tidy sum to get his signature, according to
La Razon.
Lee doesn’t believe he has the faith of his manager and is considering his future at the Mestalla Stadium. The report says the South Korean international is unwilling to sign a new contract beyond 2022 and Valencia are willing to listen to offers.
Lee joined Los Che from School Team SK in 2011 and has gone on to make 44 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals with three assists.
He’s created more chances in the league
than Raheem Sterling (9), Ferran Torres (5) and Gabriel Jesus (5). However, the issue is price. La Razon claim Lee has an €80m release clause, although Valencia are sure to accept less money if they’re unable to tie him down to a new deal.
