Phil Foden Is expected to sign a new long-term deal with Manchester City in a bid to keep the talented youngster at the club, according to the Mail Sport.
The midfielder will put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at the Etihad until June 2024. The 18-year-old’s contract will be a considerable hike on his current £15,000-a-week deal and include incentives.
Foden is made his full debut for last November in a Champions League match against Feyenoord and has since made 20 appearances in all competitions, netting his first goal for the club to secure a 3-0 away win against Oxford United in the third round of the EFL Cup.
